9 But suppose I announce that a nation or kingdom is going to be built up and planted. 10 And then it does what is evil in my eyes. It does not obey me. Then I will think again about the good things I had wanted to do for it.
11 “So speak to the people of Judah and Jerusalem. Tell them, ‘The Lord says, “Look! I am making plans against you. I am going to bring trouble on you. So each one of you must turn from your evil ways. Change the way you live and act.” ’

9 And if at another time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be built(A) up and planted, 10 and if it does evil(B) in my sight and does not obey me, then I will reconsider(C) the good I had intended to do for it.(D)
11 “Now therefore say to the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem, ‘This is what the Lord says: Look! I am preparing a disaster(E) for you and devising a plan(F) against you. So turn(G) from your evil ways,(H) each one of you, and reform your ways and your actions.’(I)
