9 On the other hand, if I say that I am going to plant or build up any nation or kingdom, 10 but then that nation disobeys me and does evil, I will not do what I said I would. 11 Now then, tell the people of Judah and of Jerusalem that I am making plans against them and getting ready to punish them. Tell them to stop living sinful lives—to change their ways and the things they are doing.

9 And if at another time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be built(A) up and planted, 10 and if it does evil(B) in my sight and does not obey me, then I will reconsider(C) the good I had intended to do for it.(D)
11 “Now therefore say to the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem, ‘This is what the Lord says: Look! I am preparing a disaster(E) for you and devising a plan(F) against you. So turn(G) from your evil ways,(H) each one of you, and reform your ways and your actions.’(I)
