9 There may come another time when I speak about a nation that I will build up or plant. 10 But if I see that nation doing evil things and not obeying me, I will think again about the good I had planned to do for them.
11 “So, Jeremiah, say to the people of Judah and those who live in Jerusalem, ‘This is what the Lord says: I am the potter preparing troubles for you and making plans against you. So stop doing the evil things you are doing. Each person must change and start doing good.’

9 And if at another time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be built(A) up and planted, 10 and if it does evil(B) in my sight and does not obey me, then I will reconsider(C) the good I had intended to do for it.(D)
11 “Now therefore say to the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem, ‘This is what the Lord says: Look! I am preparing a disaster(E) for you and devising a plan(F) against you. So turn(G) from your evil ways,(H) each one of you, and reform your ways and your actions.’(I)
