8 (A)if that nation against which I have spoken turns from its evil, I will [a](B)relent concerning the calamity I planned to bring on it. 9 Or at another moment I might speak concerning a nation or concerning a kingdom to (C)build up or to plant it; 10 if it does (D)evil in My sight by not obeying My voice, then I will [b](E)think better of the good with which I had promised to [c]bless it.

8 and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent(A) and not inflict on it the disaster(B) I had planned. 9 And if at another time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be built(C) up and planted, 10 and if it does evil(D) in my sight and does not obey me, then I will reconsider(E) the good I had intended to do for it.(F)
