⁸However, if that nation I have made an announcement about turns from its evil, I will relent concerning the disaster I had planned to do to it.^(A)

Jeremiah 18:8

⁸If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

⁸^(A)if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, ^(B)I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it.

¹⁰“Are you a teacher^[a] of Israel and don’t know these things?” Jesus replied.
