21 Do not [a]despise us, (A)for Your own name’s sake;
Do not disgrace the (B)throne of Your glory;
Remember and do not break Your covenant with us.
22 Are there any among the [b](C)idols of the nations who (D)give rain?
Or can the heavens give showers?
Is it not You, O Yahweh our God?
Therefore we [c](E)hope in You,
For You are the one who has done all these things.

Do the skies themselves send down showers?
No, it is you, Lord our God.
Therefore our hope is in you,
for you are the one who does all this.(F)
