Life Is a Vapor
13 (D)Come now, you who say, “(E)Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” 14 [a]Yet you do not know [b]what your life will be like tomorrow. (F)You are a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.

13 Now listen,(D) you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.”(E) 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.(F)
