James 3:15-17
New Matthew Bible
15 This wisdom descends not from above, but is earthly, and natural, and devilish. 16 For where envying and strife are, there is instability and all manner of evil works.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated – full of mercy and good fruits, without judging and without dissimulation.

15 Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven(A) but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.(B) 16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition,(C) there you find disorder and every evil practice.
17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven(D) is first of all pure; then peace-loving,(E) considerate, submissive, full of mercy(F) and good fruit, impartial and sincere.(G)
