18 We have a special role in His plan. He calls us to life by His message of truth so that we will show the rest of His creatures His goodness and love.
19 Listen, open your ears, harness your desire to speak, and don’t get worked up into a rage so easily, my brothers and sisters. 20 Human anger is a futile exercise that will never produce God’s kind of justice in this world.

Listening and Doing
19 My dear brothers and sisters,(D) take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak(E) and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger(F) does not produce the righteousness that God desires.
