Isaiah 55:7-9  New English Translation

7 The wicked need to abandon their lifestyle[a]
and sinful people their plans.[b]
They should return[c] to the Lord, and he will show mercy to them,[d]
and to their God, for he will freely forgive them.[e]
8 “Indeed,[f] my plans[g] are not like[h] your plans,
and my deeds[i] are not like[j] your deeds,” says the Lord,
9 “for just as the sky[k] is higher than the earth,
so my deeds[l] are superior to[m] your deeds
and my plans[n] superior to your plans.
