⁴ “Lift up your eyes and look about you:
    All assemble^(A) and come to you;
your sons come from afar,^(B)
    and your daughters^(C) are carried on the hip.^(D)

¹⁶ In those days Judah will be saved^(A)
    and Jerusalem will live in safety.^(B)
This is the name by which it^[a] will be called:^(C)
    The Lord Our Righteous Savior.’^(D)

²⁷ “Do not be afraid,^(A) Jacob^(B) my servant;^(C)
    do not be dismayed, Israel.
I will surely save you out of a distant place,
    your descendants from the land of their exile.^(D)
Jacob will again have peace and security,
    and no one will make him afraid.

²⁸ Do not be afraid, Jacob my servant,
    for I am with you,”^(A) declares the Lord.
“Though I completely destroy^(B) all the nations
    among which I scatter you,
    I will not completely destroy you.
I will discipline you but only in due measure;
    I will not let you go entirely unpunished.”

⁴ Everyone will sit under their own vine
    and under their own fig tree,^(A)
and no one will make them afraid,^(B)
    for the Lord Almighty has spoken.^(C)
