The Lord's Servant

42 ^(A)The Lord says,

^17 (A)Then a voice said from heaven, “This is my own dear Son, with whom I am pleased.”

¹⁸ This is what I will do,’ he told himself; ‘I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, where I will store the grain and all my other goods.

^11 (A)And a voice came from heaven, “You are my own dear Son. I am pleased with you.”

^22 (A)and the Holy Spirit came down upon him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, “You are my own dear Son. I am pleased with you.”

^35 (A)A voice said from the cloud, “This is my Son, whom I have chosen—listen to him!”

^17 (A)We were there when he was given honor and glory by God the Father, when the voice came to him from the Supreme Glory, saying, “This is my own dear Son, with whom I am pleased!” ¹⁸ We ourselves heard this voice coming from heaven, when we were with him on the holy mountain.
