²⁶ His God instructs him
    and teaches^(A) him the right way.

⁸ I will instruct^(A) you and teach you^(B) in the way you should go;
    I will counsel you with my loving eye on^(C) you.

“Come, let us go^(B) up to the mountain^(C) of the Lord,
    to the temple of the God of Jacob.
He will teach us his ways,
    so that we may walk in his paths.”
The law^(D) will go out from Zion,
    the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.^(E)

¹⁷ This is what the Lord says—
    your Redeemer,^(A) the Holy One^(B) of Israel:
“I am the Lord your God,
    who teaches^(C) you what is best for you,
    who directs^(D) you in the way^(E) you should go.

⁴ The Sovereign Lord^(A) has given me a well-instructed tongue,^(B)
    to know the word that sustains the weary.^(C)
He wakens me morning by morning,^(D)
    wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.^(E)

¹³ All your children will be taught by the Lord,^(A)
    and great will be their peace.^(B)

³⁴ No longer will they teach^(A) their neighbor,
    or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know^(B) me,
    from the least of them to the greatest,”
declares the Lord.
“For I will forgive^(C) their wickedness
    and will remember their sins^(D) no more.”
