⁴ He will judge^(A) between the nations
    and will settle disputes^(B) for many peoples.
They will beat their swords into plowshares
    and their spears into pruning hooks.^(C)
Nation will not take up sword against nation,^(D)
    nor will they train for war anymore.

⁵ Every warrior’s boot used in battle
    and every garment rolled in blood
will be destined for burning,^(A)
    will be fuel for the fire.
⁶ For to us a child is born,^(B)
    to us a son is given,^(C)
    and the government^(D) will be on his shoulders.^(E)
And he will be called
    Wonderful Counselor,^(F) Mighty God,^(G)
    Everlasting^(H) Father,^(I) Prince of Peace.^(J)
