Isaiah 9:19-21

19 By the (A)fury of the Lord of hosts the (B)land is burned up,
And the (C)people are like fuel for the fire;
No (D)man spares his brother.
20 [a]They slice off what is on the right hand but still are (E)hungry,
And [b]they eat what is on the left hand but they are not satisfied;
Each of them eats the (F)flesh of his own arm.
21 Manasseh devours Ephraim, and Ephraim Manasseh,
(G)And together they are against Judah.
(H)In spite of all this, His anger does not turn away
And His hand is still stretched out.

19 By the wrath(A) of the Lord Almighty
the land will be scorched(B)
and the people will be fuel for the fire;(C)
they will not spare one another.(D)
20 On the right they will devour,
but still be hungry;(E)
on the left they will eat,(F)
but not be satisfied.
Each will feed on the flesh of their own offspring[a]:
21 Manasseh will feed on Ephraim, and Ephraim on Manasseh;(G)
together they will turn against Judah.(H)
Yet for all this, his anger is not turned away,
his hand is still upraised.(I)
