9 and the head of Ephraim is Samaria and the head of Samaria is the son of Remaliah. (A)If you do not [a]establish your faith in Yahweh, you surely shall not [b]be established.”’”

10 Then Yahweh spoke again to Ahaz, saying, 11 “Ask a (B)sign for yourself from Yahweh your God; [c]make it deep as Sheol or high as [d]heaven.”

New International Version
9 The head of Ephraim is Samaria,(A)
and the head of Samaria is only Remaliah’s son.
If you do not stand(B) firm in your faith,(C)
you will not stand at all.’”(D)
10 Again the Lord spoke to Ahaz, 11 “Ask the Lord your God for a sign,(E) whether in the deepest depths or in the highest heights.(F)”
