22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree shall be the days of my people, and my chosen shall [a]long enjoy the work of their hands. 23 They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth for [b]calamity; for they are the seed of the blessed of Jehovah, and their offspring [c]with them. 24 And it shall come to pass that, before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

New International Version
22 No longer will they build houses and others live in them,(A)
or plant and others eat.
For as the days of a tree,(B)
so will be the days(C) of my people;
my chosen(D) ones will long enjoy
the work of their hands.
23 They will not labor in vain,(E)
nor will they bear children doomed to misfortune;(F)
for they will be a people blessed(G) by the Lord,
they and their descendants(H) with them.
24 Before they call(I) I will answer;(J)
while they are still speaking(K) I will hear.
