¹⁰but they rebelled against him and made his holy spirit sad. So the Lord became their enemy and fought against them.

Isaiah 63:10

New International Version

¹⁰Yet they rebelled^(A)
and grieved his Holy Spirit.^(B)
So he turned and became their enemy^(C)
and he himself fought^(D) against them.

¹⁰But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.
