4 (A)You shall no longer be termed (B)Forsaken,[a]
Nor shall your land any more be termed (C)Desolate;[b]
But you shall be called [c]Hephzibah, and your land [d]Beulah;
For the Lord delights in you,
And your land shall be married.
5 For as a young man marries a virgin,
So shall your sons marry you;
And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride,
(D)So shall your God rejoice over you.
6 (E)I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem;
They shall [e]never hold their peace day or night.
You who [f]make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent,

or name your land Desolate.(B)

for the Lord will take delight(D) in you,
and your land will be married.(E)
5 As a young man marries a young woman,
so will your Builder marry you;
as a bridegroom(F) rejoices over his bride,
so will your God rejoice(G) over you.
