2 He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of God’s favor to them has come, and the day of his wrath to their enemies. 3 To all who mourn in Israel he will give: beauty for ashes; joy instead of mourning; praise instead of heaviness. For God has planted them like strong and graceful oaks for his own glory.
4 And they shall rebuild the ancient ruins, repairing cities long ago destroyed, reviving them though they have lain there many generations.

Isaiah 61:2-4
New International Version
2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor(A)
and the day of vengeance(B) of our God,
to comfort(C) all who mourn,(D)
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown(E) of beauty
instead of ashes,(F)
the oil(G) of joy
instead of mourning,(H)
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting(I) of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.(J)
4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins(K)
and restore the places long devastated;
they will renew the ruined cities
that have been devastated for generations.
