14 The (A)sons of those who afflicted you will come bowing to you,
And all those who spurned you will bow themselves at the soles of your feet;
And they will call you the (B)City of Yahweh,
The (C)Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
15 “Instead of being (D)forsaken and (E)hated
With no one passing through,
I will make you an everlasting (F)pride,
A joy from generation to generation.
16 You will also (G)suck the milk of nations
And suck the breast of kings;
Then you will know that I, Yahweh, am your (H)Savior
And your (I)Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

14 The children of your oppressors(A) will come bowing before you;
all who despise you will bow down(B) at your feet
and will call you the City(C) of the Lord,
Zion(D) of the Holy One(E) of Israel.
15 “Although you have been forsaken(F) and hated,
with no one traveling(G) through,
I will make you the everlasting pride(H)
and the joy(I) of all generations.
16 You will drink the milk of nations
and be nursed(J) at royal breasts.
Then you will know(K) that I, the Lord, am your Savior,(L)
your Redeemer,(M) the Mighty One of Jacob.(N)
