16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the fire of coals, and bringeth forth a weapon for [a]his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. 17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Jehovah, and [b]their righteousness which is of me, saith Jehovah.

16 “See, it is I who created the blacksmith(A)
who fans the coals into flame
and forges a weapon(B) fit for its work.
And it is I who have created the destroyer(C) to wreak havoc;
17 no weapon forged against you will prevail,(D)
and you will refute(E) every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants(F) of the Lord,
and this is their vindication(G) from me,”
declares the Lord.
