Isaiah 50:3-5
Legacy Standard Bible

3 I (A)clothe the heavens with blackness
And make sackcloth their covering.”

4 Lord Yahweh has given Me the tongue of (B)disciples,
That I may know how to (C)sustain the weary one with a word.
He awakens Me (D)morning by morning;
He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple.
5 Lord Yahweh has (E)opened My ear;
And I did (F)not rebel
Nor did I turn back.

    to know the word that sustains the weary.(E)

    wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.(G)

    I have not been rebellious,(J)
    I have not turned away.
