Isaiah 5:29-30
American Standard Version
29 their roaring shall be like a lioness, they shall roar like young lions; yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and carry it away safe, and there shall be none to deliver. 30 And they shall roar [a]against them in that day like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, [b]behold, darkness and distress; and the light is darkened in the clouds thereof.

New International Version
29 Their roar is like that of the lion,(A)

they growl as they seize(B) their prey
and carry it off with no one to rescue.(C)
30 In that day(D) they will roar over it
like the roaring of the sea.(E)
And if one looks at the land,
there is only darkness(F) and distress;(G)
even the sun will be darkened(H) by clouds.
