16 But the Lord of Hosts is exalted by His justice,(A)
and the holy God(B) is distinguished by righteousness.(C)
17 Lambs will graze
as if in[a] their own pastures,(D)
and strangers[b] will eat
among the ruins of the rich.

18 Woe to those who drag wickedness
with cords of deceit(E)
and pull sin along with cart ropes,

    and the holy God will be proved holy(C) by his righteous acts.
17 Then sheep will graze as in their own pasture;(D)
    lambs will feed[a] among the ruins of the rich.

18 Woe(E) to those who draw sin along with cords(F) of deceit,
