Isaiah 5:13-15
Darby Translation
13 Therefore my people are led away captive from lack of knowledge, and their nobility die of famine, and their multitude are parched with thirst.
14 Therefore doth Sheol enlarge its desire, and open its mouth without measure; and her splendour shall descend [into it], and her multitude, and her tumult, and [all] that is joyful within her.
15 And the mean man shall be bowed down, and the great man brought low, and the eyes of the lofty shall be brought low;

Isaiah 5:13-15
New International Version
13 Therefore my people will go into exile(A)
for lack of understanding;(B)
those of high rank(C) will die of hunger
and the common people will be parched with thirst.(D)
14 Therefore Death(E) expands its jaws,
opening wide its mouth;(F)
into it will descend their nobles and masses
with all their brawlers and revelers.(G)
15 So people will be brought low(H)
and everyone humbled,(I)
the eyes of the arrogant(J) humbled.
