14 Behold, they have become (A)like stubble,
(B)Fire burns them;
They cannot deliver themselves from the power of the flame;
There will be (C)no coal to warm by
Nor a fire to sit before!
15 Thus they have become for you, those among whom you have labored,
Who have (D)traded with you from your youth;
Each has wandered in his own [a]way;
There is (E)none to save you.

These are not coals for warmth;
this is not a fire to sit by.
15 That is all they are to you—
these you have dealt with
and labored(D) with since childhood.
All of them go on in their error;
there is not one that can save(E) you.
