Isaiah 43:18-20
New English Translation
18 “Don’t remember these earlier events;[a]
don’t recall these former events.
19 Look, I am about to do something new.
Now it begins to happen![b] Do you not recognize[c] it?
Yes, I will make a road in the wilderness
and paths[d] in the wastelands.
20 The wild animals[e] honor me,
the jackals and ostriches,
because I put water in the wilderness
and streams in the wastelands,
to quench the thirst of my chosen people,

do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!(B)
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness(C)

the jackals(F) and the owls,
