Isaiah 41:2-4
New American Standard Bible 1995
2 “(A)Who has aroused one from the east
Whom He (B)calls in righteousness to His [a]feet?
He (C)delivers up nations before him
And subdues kings.
He makes them like (D)dust with his sword,
As the wind-driven (E)chaff with his bow.
3 “He pursues them, passing on in safety,
By a way he had not been [b]traversing with his feet.
4 “(F)Who has performed and accomplished it,
Calling forth the generations from the beginning?
‘(G)I, the Lord, am the first, and with the last. (H)I am He.’”
