Isaiah 36:9-11

9 How then can you repulse (A)a single captain among the least of my master's servants, when (B)you trust in Egypt for chariots and for horsemen? 10 Moreover, is it without the Lord that I have come up against this land to destroy it? (C)The Lord said to me, Go up against this land and destroy it.’”
11 Then Eliakim, Shebna, and Joah said to the Rabshakeh, “Please speak to your servants (D)in Aramaic, for we understand it. Do not speak to us in the language of Judah within the hearing of the people who are on the wall.”

9 How then can you repulse one officer of the least of my master’s officials, even though you are depending on Egypt(A) for chariots(B) and horsemen[a]?(C) 10 Furthermore, have I come to attack and destroy this land without the Lord? The Lord himself told(D) me to march against this country and destroy it.’”
11 Then Eliakim, Shebna and Joah(E) said to the field commander, “Please speak to your servants in Aramaic,(F) since we understand it. Don’t speak to us in Hebrew in the hearing of the people on the wall.”
