¹⁰ And ^(A)the ransomed of the Lord will return
And come with joyful shouting to Zion,
With everlasting joy upon their heads.
They will ^[a]find gladness and joy,
And ^(B)sorrow and sighing will flee away.

“For your sake I have sent to Babylon,
And will bring them all down as fugitives,
^[a]Even the ^(B)Chaldeans, into the ^(C)ships ^[b]in which they rejoice.

‘I am the ^(C)first and I am the last,
And there is no God ^(D)besides Me.

²² “I have ^(A)wiped out your transgressions like a thick cloud
And your sins like a ^[a]heavy mist.
^(B)Return to Me, for I have ^(C)redeemed you.”
^23 (D)Shout for joy, O heavens, for the Lord has done it!
Shout joyfully, you lower parts of the earth;
^(E)Break forth into a shout of joy, you mountains,
O forest, and every tree in it;
For ^(F)the Lord has redeemed Jacob
And in Israel He ^(G)shows forth His glory.

“I, the Lord, am the maker of all things,
^(J)Stretching out the heavens by Myself
And spreading out the earth ^[b]all alone,
