Isaiah 33:7-9

7 Behold, [a]their messengers shall cry without, and the [b]ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.
8 The [c]paths are waste: the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant: he hath contemned the cities: he regardeth no man.
9 The earth mourneth and fainteth: Lebanon is ashamed, and hewn down: [d]Sharon is like a wilderness, and Bashan is shaken and Carmel.

New International Version
7 Look, their brave men(A) cry aloud in the streets;
the envoys(B) of peace weep bitterly.
8 The highways are deserted,
no travelers(C) are on the roads.(D)
The treaty is broken,(E)
its witnesses[a] are despised,
no one is respected.
9 The land dries up(F) and wastes away,
Lebanon(G) is ashamed and withers;(H)
Sharon(I) is like the Arabah,
and Bashan(J) and Carmel(K) drop their leaves.
