Isaiah 33:7-9
American Standard Version
7 Behold, their valiant ones cry without; the ambassadors of peace weep bitterly. 8 The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: [a]the enemy hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth not man. 9 The land mourneth and languisheth; Lebanon is confounded and withereth away; Sharon is like [b]a desert; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their leaves.

Isaiah 33:7-9
New International Version
7 Look, their brave men(A) cry aloud in the streets;
the envoys(B) of peace weep bitterly.
8 The highways are deserted,
no travelers(C) are on the roads.(D)
The treaty is broken,(E)
its witnesses[a] are despised,
no one is respected.
9 The land dries up(F) and wastes away,
Lebanon(G) is ashamed and withers;(H)
Sharon(I) is like the Arabah,
and Bashan(J) and Carmel(K) drop their leaves.
