7 As for a rogue, his weapons are evil;
He (A)devises wicked schemes
To (B)destroy the afflicted with [a]slander,
(C)Even though the needy one speaks [b]what is right.
8 But (D)the noble man devises noble plans;
And by noble plans he stands.

9 Rise up, you (E)women who are at ease,
And hear my voice;
(F)Give ear to my word,
You complacent daughters.

to destroy the poor with lies,
    even when the plea of the needy(C) is just.(D)
8 But the noble make noble plans,
