Isaiah 32:5-7
Legacy Standard Bible
5 No longer will the (A)wicked fool be called noble,
Or the rogue be spoken of as generous.
6 For a wicked fool speaks wicked folly,
And his heart (B)does wickedness:
To do (C)ungodliness and to speak error against Yahweh,
In order to (D)make the hungry person empty;
He even causes the thirsty to lack a drink.
7 As for a rogue, his weapons are evil;
He (E)counsels wicked schemes
To (F)wreak destruction on the afflicted with lying words,
(G)Even though the needy one speaks justly.
Isaiah 32:5-7
New International Version
5 No longer will the fool(A) be called noble
nor the scoundrel be highly respected.
6 For fools speak folly,(B)
their hearts are bent on evil:(C)
They practice ungodliness(D)
and spread error(E) concerning the Lord;
the hungry they leave empty(F)
and from the thirsty they withhold water.
7 Scoundrels use wicked methods,(G)
they make up evil schemes(H)
to destroy the poor with lies,
even when the plea of the needy(I) is just.(J)
