16 Everywhere in the land righteousness and justice will be done. 17 Because everyone will do what is right, there will be peace and security forever. 18 God's people will be free from worries, and their homes peaceful and safe.

16 The Lord’s justice(A) will dwell in the desert,(B)
his righteousness(C) live in the fertile field.
17 The fruit of that righteousness(D) will be peace;(E)
its effect will be quietness and confidence(F) forever.
18 My people will live in peaceful(G) dwelling places,
in secure homes,(H)
in undisturbed places of rest.(I)
