11 Tremble, you women who are at ease;
(A)Be troubled, you complacent daughters;
(B)Strip, undress and put sackcloth on your waist,
12 (C)Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine,
13 (D)For the land of my people in which thorns and briars shall come up;
Yea, for all the joyful houses and for the (E)jubilant city.

shudder, you daughters who feel secure!(B)
Strip off your fine clothes(C)
and wrap yourselves in rags.(D)

a land overgrown with thorns and briers(G)—
yes, mourn(H) for all houses of merriment
