⁸ “Assyria^(A) will fall by no human sword;
    a sword, not of mortals, will devour^(B) them.
They will flee before the sword
    and their young men will be put to forced labor.^(C)

¹⁰ But that day^(A) belongs to the Lord, the Lord Almighty—
    a day of vengeance^(B), for vengeance on his foes.
The sword will devour^(C) till it is satisfied,
    till it has quenched its thirst with blood.^(D)
For the Lord, the Lord Almighty, will offer sacrifice^(E)
    in the land of the north by the River Euphrates.^(F)
