Isaiah 30:7-9

7 Even Egypt, whose (A)help is vain and empty.
Therefore, I have called [a]her
“[b](B)Rahab who has ceased.”
8 Now go, (C)write it on a tablet before them
And inscribe it on a scroll,
That it may be in the time to come
[c]As a witness forever.
9 For this is a (D)rebellious people, (E)false sons,
Sons who are not willing to (F)listen
To the law of Yahweh,

New International Version

7     to Egypt, whose help is utterly useless.(A)
Therefore I call her
    Rahab(B) the Do-Nothing.

8 Go now, write it on a tablet(C) for them,
    inscribe it on a scroll,(D)
that for the days to come
    it may be an everlasting witness.(E)
9 For these are rebellious(F) people, deceitful(G) children,
    children unwilling to listen to the Lord’s instruction.(H)
