29 You will sing
as you do in the evening when you are celebrating a festival.
You will be happy like one who plays a flute
as he goes to the mountain of the Lord, the Rock who shelters Israel.[a]
30 The Lord will give a mighty shout[b]
and intervene in power,[c]
with furious anger and flaming, destructive fire,[d]
with a driving rainstorm and hailstones.
31 Indeed, the Lord’s shout will shatter Assyria;[e]
he will beat them with a club.

30 The Lord will cause people to hear his majestic voice(F)
    and will make them see his arm(G) coming down
with raging anger(H) and consuming fire,(I)
    with cloudburst, thunderstorm(J) and hail.(K)
31 The voice of the Lord will shatter Assyria;(L)
    with his rod he will strike(M) them down.
