¹³ therefore this iniquity shall become for you
    like a break in a high wall, bulging out and about to collapse,
    whose crash comes suddenly, in an instant;^(A)

²⁸ who says of Cyrus, “He is my shepherd,
    and he shall carry out all my purpose”;
and who says of Jerusalem, “It shall be rebuilt,”
    and of the temple, “Your foundation shall be laid.”^(A)

⁸ Thus says the Lord:
In a time of favor I have answered you;
    on a day of salvation I have helped you;
I have kept you and given you
    as a covenant to the people,^[a]
to establish the land,
    to apportion the desolate heritages,^(A)

¹¹ On that day I will raise up
    the booth of David that is fallen
and repair its^[a] breaches
    and raise up its^[b] ruins
    and rebuild it as in the days of old,^(A)
