20 The bed is too short on which to stretch out,
And the (A)blanket is too [a]small to wrap oneself in.
21 For the Lord will rise up as at Mount (B)Perazim,
He will be stirred up as in the valley of (C)Gibeon,
To do His (D)task, His [b](E)unusual task,
And to work His work, His [c]extraordinary work.
22 And now do not carry on as (F)scoffers,
Or your fetters will be made stronger;
For I have heard from the Lord [d]God of hosts
Of decisive (G)destruction on all the earth.
