Isaiah 24:6-8

6 Therefore, a (A)curse devours the earth, and those who inhabit it are held guilty. Therefore, the (B)inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men remain.
7 The (C)new wine mourns;
The vine languishes;
All the glad of heart sigh.
8 The (D)joy of tambourines ceases;
The rumbling of those exulting stops;
The joy of the harp ceases.

New International Version
6 Therefore a curse(A) consumes the earth;
its people must bear their guilt.
Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up,(B)
and very few are left.
7 The new wine dries up(C) and the vine withers;(D)
all the merrymakers groan.(E)
8 The joyful timbrels(F) are stilled,
the noise(G) of the revelers(H) has stopped,
the joyful harp(I) is silent.(J)
