Isaiah 24:15-17
Good News Translation

15 and those in the East will praise him. The people who live along the sea will praise the Lord, the God of Israel. 16 From the most distant parts of the world we will hear songs in praise of Israel, the righteous nation.

But there is no hope for me! I am wasting away! Traitors continue to betray, and their treachery grows worse and worse. 17 Listen to me, everyone! There are terrors, pits, and traps waiting for you.

New International Version

15 Therefore in the east(A) give glory(B) to the Lord;
    exalt(C) the name(D) of the Lord, the God of Israel,
    in the islands(E) of the sea.
16 From the ends of the earth(F) we hear singing:(G)
    “Glory(H) to the Righteous One.”(I)

But I said, “I waste away, I waste away!(J)
    Woe(K) to me!
The treacherous(L) betray!
    With treachery the treacherous betray!(M)”
17 Terror(N) and pit and snare(O) await you,
    people of the earth.(P)
