13 You said in your heart,
‘I’ll ascend to heaven,
above the stars of God.
I’ll erect my throne;
I’ll sit[a] on the Mount of Assembly
in the far reaches of the north;[b]
14 I’ll ascend above the tops of the clouds;
I’ll make myself like the Most High.’
15 But you are brought down to join the dead,[c]
to the far reaches of the Pit.[d]

on the utmost heights(D) of Mount Zaphon.[a]
14 I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;(E)

to the depths(I) of the pit.(J)
