14 (A)But they shall swoop down on the shoulder of the Philistines in the west,
and together they shall plunder (B)the people of the east.
They shall put out their hand (C)against (D)Edom and (E)Moab,
and (F)the Ammonites shall obey them.
15 And the Lord will utterly destroy[a]
(G)the tongue of the Sea of Egypt,
and will wave his hand over (H)the River[b]
with his scorching breath,[c]
and strike it into seven channels,
and he will lead people across in sandals.
16 And there will be (I)a highway from Assyria
for the remnant that remains of his people,
(J)as there was for Israel
when they came up from the land of Egypt.

They will subdue Edom(C) and Moab,(D)
and the Ammonites(E) will be subject to them.(F)
15 The Lord will dry up(G)
the gulf of the Egyptian sea;
with a scorching wind(H) he will sweep his hand(I)
over the Euphrates River.(J)
He will break it up into seven streams
so that anyone can cross over in sandals.(K)
16 There will be a highway(L) for the remnant(M) of his people
that is left from Assyria,(N)
as there was for Israel
when they came up from Egypt.(O)
