³ Now ^(A)what will you do in the ^(B)day of punishment,
And in the devastation which will come ^(C)from afar?
^(D)To whom will you flee for help?
And where will you leave your ^[a]wealth?

⁷ Even Egypt, whose ^(A)help is vain and empty.
Therefore, I have called ^[a]her
“^[b](B)Rahab who has been exterminated.”

³ Now the Egyptians are ^(A)men and not God,
And their ^(B)horses are flesh and not spirit;
So the Lord will ^(C)stretch out His hand,
And ^(D)he who helps will stumble
And he who is helped will fall,
And all of them will come to an end together.
