⁹ Unless the Lord Almighty
    had left us some survivors,^(A)
we would have become like Sodom,
    we would have been like Gomorrah.^(B)

¹⁰ Hear the word of the Lord,^(C)
    you rulers of Sodom;^(D)
listen to the instruction^(E) of our God,
    you people of Gomorrah!^(F)
11 “The multitude of your sacrifices—
    what are they to me?” says the Lord.
“I have more than enough of burnt offerings,
    of rams and the fat of fattened animals;^(G)
I have no pleasure^(H)
    in the blood of bulls^(I) and lambs and goats.^(J)
