Living Bible

26 And afterwards I will give you good judges and wise counselors like those you used to have. Then your city shall again be called “The City of Justice” and “The Faithful Town.”

27 Those who return to the Lord, who are just and good, shall be redeemed. 28 (But all sinners shall utterly perish, for they refuse to come to me.)

26 I will restore your leaders as in days of old,(A)
    your rulers as at the beginning.
Afterward you will be called(B)
    the City of Righteousness,(C)
    the Faithful City.(D)”

27 Zion will be delivered with justice,
    her penitent(E) ones with righteousness.(F)
28 But rebels and sinners(G) will both be broken,
    and those who forsake(H) the Lord will perish.(I)
