9 しかしながら、暗闇と絶望の時代は、いつまでも続くわけではありません。もうすぐ、ゼブルンの地とナフタリの地は神からの辱しめとさばきを受けますが、将来は、海沿いの道、外国人の住むガリラヤ、ヨルダン川の東の地は、神の栄光でまぶしいほどになります。
2 暗がりを歩いていた人たちは大きな光を見ます。
それは、死の陰の地に住んでいた者を照らす光です。
